Who's ready for some cathartic laughs, 2SLGBTQ+ jokes, and an all-around good time? Rainbow Reels annual comedy night is kicking off our 21st Fall Film and Arts Festival on Oct 22, 2021! We will be at the Kitchener Market - outside but protected from any strong winds or rain! Overhead heaters will be turned on. We are excited and can't wait to see all of your cool, gay, and fun masks!

Doors at 7pm, show starts promptly at 7:45pm.

We are excited to have Together We’re Bitter (TWB) who will bring some of their beer, local cider, and other non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. Free hot drinks available. ACCKWA will be tabling.

We are excited to gather in-person, and in order to do this safely, this will be an outdoor event at the Kitchener Market, masks must be worn while moving around the space (can be taken off while seated to consume food/drinks) and physical distancing required. The venue is fully accessible, will have washrooms available, and overhead heaters in the space will be turned on to deal with any chilly October weather. If you are unable to attend in person, please join us virtually (click the ticket link to receive a live-streamed Zoom link). Live closed captioning for Zoom will be available.

Hosted by Aashay

Aashay (he/she/him/her) is a queer POC immigrant with a big smile. Before the pandemic, Aashay has performed standup across venues in Toronto, including at Glad Day. Since moving to KW, Aashay has been a community leader, vocal on anti-racism with written work found on Textile Magazine and insideWaterloo. Let's encourage everyone to accept their inner queer by questioning the status quo and challenging the binary. At a public event, you’ll find Aashay where the food is.
