This is a space centering people who identify as Queer/Trans (LGBTQ2I+) AND BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Persons of Colour). This event is meant to fill a gap, a need for safer spaces for QTBIPOC people in Kitchener-Waterloo.
For allies who are not QTBIPOC, we are excited you want to come and support antiracism within queer community. Please arrive with the folks you came to support as their guest and be mindful of the way you take up space through the night. It is our joint responsibility as a community to make this event a safer space for all so we can celebrate our identities and friendships free from systemic oppression. It's going to be a great night!
